Don’t be fooled by the rocks that she got, she’s just Hillary from the block.
NYT: Clinton Decides to Accept Post at State Dept., Confidants Say
You know, I’m so surprised by her decision. I really thought she loved being Senator from New York, really getting into the minutiae of various bills to help the state which she loves so much and in which she has so much history. I know she will keep wearing that Yankee cap, wherever she ends up. She may be international now, but we all will remember her as the true New Yorker she was.

Do elected officials, like, say, Hillary Clinton, make good Secretary of States?
I don’t think so and Justin Shubow doesn’t either:
True statesmanship, it should go without saying, requires political disinterestedness. As a Senator wisely put it many years ago:
‘A politician thinks of the next election. A statesman, of the next generation.’
And Hillary is always thinking of the next election.
