Who is Obama? Obama does not know.
That’s where we ultimately are with Obama as our president. He is anti-war, except when starting one with Libya. He is against the “Bush tax cuts” except when he extends them. Iraq was the war he opposed, Afghanistan the one he supported, yet he’s pulling troops out of the latter without declaring anything resembling victory.
He accused John McCain of questioning his patriotism when he opposed the war in Iraq yet blatantly questioned the patriotism of anyone who opposes the war in Libya. He opposes gay marriage with a wink, wink that maybe he actually supports gay marriage. He’s very assertive in the declarations he makes and he’s equally assertive when making declarations which contradict his first set of declarations. This is a man without principle.

Huntsman. You know, the other tall, white Mormon running for president.
My latest post for WNYC examines the media-loves-Huntsman phenomenon.

I love the “more recently”
From a NY Times article about how no one likes Weiner:
More often than not, as members of the New York delegation waited for a vote, or a meeting, most would make small talk or huddle. But not Mr. Weiner, who usually kept to himself, and was busy either talking to his staff or, more recently, using his BlackBerry.

Anthony Weiner has to go
My latest post for WNYC concludes:
We live in a divided country, it’s true that’s not Anthony Weiner’s fault, but Weiner let 10 days go by where his surrogates attacked anyone trying to establish the truth. This is not behavior befitting a Congressman. He should go because he sent lewd photos to young women. He must go because he lied about it and let our country’s divisions worsen and deepen to protect himself.
