I just saw him in Die Hard 2 on cable last week. He showed the kind of good leadership we need in DC in that movie.

I would support him as well, if he were to run.

I will say though, that media fabrication or not, a successful presidential candidate needs to have better control of the message that is being used to describe him.

It’s not very useful to counter the false message 3 years after it happened. Even many conservatives believed the false message. Thompson has no one to blame for that other than himself.

Anyway – he was my top choice for the nomination last year, and was frustrated that he didn’t get traction. I’d support him again this year if he chose to ran.

I’d rather see someone like Paul Rayan – strong, focused and methodical, and no negative baggage behind him – but if there will be a choice between Fred and Huckster, have no doubt – I’m for Fred.
