Is this real life?

Is anyone not completely shocked that Carl Paladino (who?) has a real shot at beating Andrew Cuomo?

*raises hand* People have basically made it clear they were sick of political dynasties thinking they are “entitled.” Moreover they are sick of party entrenchment. If Cuomo’s last name was Jones, I don’t think this would be a contest. However…

Still, this kind of takes it to new levels. Not that Paladino isn’t a good guy, but it’s not too far off from Alvin whatshisname winning in SC.

I’m not completely shocked. I know a lot of people that at this point will vote for ANYONE who is not currently in office in favor of anyone who is.

And when I go vote in November, I’ll vote for him too.

And it’s a lot different than Alvin Greene(?) winning in SC, because conservatives are completely aware of who they’re voting for.

How can Paladino be a worse asshole than what we already have? And it’s lesson learning time.
