“But the biggest demand has been for bumper stickers with Mr. Bush’s likeness and the caption “Do You Miss Me Yet?”"

Yes, we miss the entire financial system in collapse. We miss losing 750,000 jobs per month and an unemployment rate getting worse by a half percent per month. We’d like our retirement plans to lose some more of their value, like they did over your entire 8 years of service. We hate that the market is now up about 40% since you left.

What’s not to miss?

Personally I “miss” the faux conservatism and unwillingness to get in the trenches with the opposition.

BTW, the financial system ain’t whole yet. Just sayin’.

Ted, are you on crack?

Ted, how could we miss all that when we have it and more with Obama?

Posted by: Eric at April 22, 2010 at 4:22 am

while i think the stickers work for both the left and the right, job losses have lessened under obama, stocks have risen under obama, 401k accounts too, tax returns increased. the list goes on and on. while fox won’t tell you this, these are undisputed facts.

mark, what “undisputed facts”? undisputed @huffington post, probably, or @Koz Kidz.

these are not only not facts, they are the exact opposites of fact – they are blatant lies.
Unemployment is at all times high. In NY it is 27% -this is the figure economists operate with. People are out of work fo 6, 9, and 14 months.
Are you sharing crack with Ted?

Yes, we miss the entire financial system in collapse.

Let me take a wild guess and suppose that you give credit to Obama for saving the banks. And that would be, uh, using the same bailout BS that Bush started.

Give credit to both, or criticize both (which I do) for stealing taxpayers’ money to bail out the irresponsible.

We miss losing 750,000 jobs per month and an unemployment rate getting worse by a half percent per month.

Yes, that evil Boosh waved a magic wand and forced mass layoffs. During his administration, unemployment jumped from 8.9% in April 2009 to 9.4% in May 2009 (the 0.5 percentage points increase you’re talking about). It’s just so fortunate that Obama came with a better stimulus plan that would keep unemployment below 8%. I mean, Saint Obamus the Lightbringer promised just that and warned we might peak at 9% unemployment in 2010 without a stimulus.

Yeah, 9% unemployment. It’s “good news” now because we’re heading for it from the other direction.

It’s better to swallow what the BLS tells us now, that we can lose jobs yet unemployment still goes down…with hardly any mention in mainstream news of “disgruntled workers” that was all the rage in Bush’s first years.

We’d like our retirement plans to lose some more of their value, like they did over your entire 8 years of service.

The S&P 500 is 10% lower than its last session close before Bush’s first inauguration. Of course, let’s just ignore that Bush inherited an economy well into a downturn, and left office during a downturn.

We hate that the market is now up about 40% since you left.

Of course, let’s just ignore that Obama inherited stock markets already depressed, and that there’s not a damn thing he can do, or did, to “help” them. In fact, Geithner’s incompetence showed so early that the shaken markets hit lows not seen since 2002 (in the case of the DJIA and S&P 500, lower than the 2002 bottoms).

“job losses have lessened under obama, stocks have risen under obama, 401k accounts too, tax returns increased. the list goes on and on. while fox won’t tell you this, these are undisputed facts.”

Try looking up the phrase “post hoc ergo propter hoc” and then read my first comment. Pay particular attention to the part about Obama’s claims of what his stimulus would do for unemployment.

As far as the “tax cuts” Obama gave, isn’t it nice that he takes so much from my loaf, then throws crumbs back at me? Wow, a whole $13 a week for most Americans, dwarfed by what’s taken in the first place.

Who says the americans do not appreciate irony?

Ted along with the other socialist democrat crackheads can’t, or won’t, remember that the socialist democrats took over congress in Jan 07 and Oct 07 was the last of the conservative budgets. Anyone with a 3rd grade education should be able to check the economy, including deficits before that date and compare them to today. But then the BDS sufferers have progressed into total insanity so they have very little mind to work with.

The current Marxist regime is led by the biggest liar to ever occupy the white house in the history of the country. I won’t pull him any slack just because he himself is a crack head and drunk. Will he take his doctors advice and at least knock off the booze and cigarettes? Once a crack head always a crack head.
