Wait, what?
There are showers in the House of Representatives, with no curtains, and Rep. Massa and Rahm Emanuel had a naked argument there? Take a few days off from reading the news and that’s what I come back to?
Massa also calls Emanuel spawn of the devil. Well, of course. Video here.

Perhaps now’s the time to make some
Paterson: “I don’t have any plans to resign.”
One month of Sadie
Time stood still while I was pregnant but now that Sadie is here, it’s flying. I can’t believe it’s been a month already (and this month is the oddity of being both exactly 4 weeks since she was born and also numerically a month–born Feb.5). Happy birthday, Sades (mine)! Sadles (IC’s)! Sadie Bug (My sister-in-law)! Chika chika Slim Sadie (my brother)! For your two month birthday maybe we’ll get you your own blog.
She has the coolest dark blue eyes ever. I try very hard to capture them but it never really works out. This is the best pic of them that I’ve got:

I enjoy watching her try to reach her pacifier:
She furrows her brow a lot (and not just when she’s having a bad hair day):

…causing us to be concerned that she’ll be a very serious child like her father was:
And not a smiley happy go lucky child like her mother:
Maybe it’s too soon to tell. At least her hair is starting to turn a little red (that’s her with her uncle Ronnie):

An embarrassing state
Oh good, Eliot Spitzer’s Madam is running for governor. Her platform? Legalize marijuana, prostitution and gay marriage. I’d criticize her priorities in a time of economic crisis, but after the last two bozos, whatever, let’s give the pimp a shot!

Well, there goes that
NY Post: Ford not running against Sen. Gillibrand
Like the Paterson race, this was going to be a comical campaign. Too bad neither is happening, NY is missing out on some fun races.
