It’s impossible to read the synopsis of GQ’s Rielle Hunter interview…

without feeling a little nauseous.

Update: I spoke too soon. A LOT nauseous.

The first made me say, “Oh good grief.”

“Edwards, the 2004 Democratic vice-presidential candidate, had no trouble lying to his wife, to his country and to himself, but Hunter insisted he would never lie to her.” This is like a woman who has an affair with a married man, convinced he’ll leave his wife and be faithful to her.

The second article, oh good lord. What’s there to say?

*shrug* Maybe I’m just cynical and jaded, but I didn’t see anything there that would make me nauseous. I mean, man bangs pregnant woman, puts it on tape. Error in judgment convincingly demonstrates why he _could_ have been a contender but was not. Bimbo in question illustrates why the man who marries his mistress creates a job opening.

What’s nauseating here? I mean, the fact that the media willfully ignored this story is a bit saddening/enraging, but I’m not getting nauseous. I think if someone airdropped a nickel on my house for every person (of both sexes) who cheated stupidly then this message would be getting posted from the bottom of a crater that made the Yucatan impact point go, “Damn, that’s deep.”
