What bias? No bias, we’re just that good.

White House spokesman compares Obama performance to undefeated football team to explain positive media coverage

“As our administration makes progress on the agenda that Washington has ignored for too long, we expect we’ll get some news coverage of that progress that we like and some tough coverage that we don’t,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said. “It’s not unlike the New Orleans Saints, who are getting lots of good coverage of their perfect record so far — certainly better coverage than the [2-5] Redskins — but it doesn’t mean the Saints have liked every story that’s been written about them since training camp.  It goes with the territory.”

Really? “Bias?” You’re going to complain about bias when an administration spokesman says something positive about the administration? Since when do administration spokesmen have a responsibility to be unbiased? I’m too lazy to read all your old posts–did you complain about bias when Bush administration spokesmen said positive things about the last president’s accomplishments?

I understand being too lazy to read my old posts. But what about just rereading the one you’re actually commenting on. Because clearly you’ve misunderstood it.

I think a comparison to the Redskins is more apt, insofar as it’s an organization run by complete screw-ups.

Look at the previous post – Fox’s ratings increased after a snub from Obama. Yet, national media are fond of him. Evidently, they are out of touch with the audience.
