This doesn’t tie your stomach in knots? He can’t be alive, can he? After three years? And how many murderous Palistinians will be released in exchange, to kill more brave young Israeli men?
I’m hoping against hope, here, but it’s a very nervous hope.
“The move is part of a new United States initiative that includes Egyptian and Syrian pressure on Hamas, internal Palestinian reconciliation and Israel’s opening of the Gaza crossings.”
In other words, the Obama administration was able to accomplish what Bush couldn’t.
Joe, this is all about Gilad—it’s not about crassly adding to the domestic American politics scoreboard.
Anyhow, The Obamessiah would never seek credit for something like this—he doesn’t believe in “meddling” in foreign nations’ affairs.
Walrus, the Obama-obsessed need to shore up their man at every opportunity. Reason plays no part in it.
“In other words, the Obama administration was able to accomplish what Bush couldn’t.”
You mean things like pushing Israel to sell out to terrorists, accelerating the bailouts and U.S. indebtedness to wreck our economy, and appear so weak that even those North Korean Pakleds think it’s time to fire a missile toward us?
Someone wake me up when Obama accomplishes “something Bush couldn’t” that’s actually a good thing.
Good grief, Joe. Don’t let reality influence your talking points.
I had a glass or five of wine with dinner and read that as “GENE Shalit transfer to Egypt imminent”.
