What a shock.
ABC News tries to set up middle America to show how much they hate gay people. Find, they don’t.
Fact is, two affectionate men rubbing each others faces with roses and drinking cosmos will get attention anywhere, including the oh-so-progressive city of Manhattan.

You got a funny idea of “Middle America.” That’s Jersey. Nothing Middle about it.

Posted by: Karol at March 26, 2009 at 1:07 pmMuch as it pains me to say this, I’d imagine those two would have fared much worse in a Southern bar … depending on the city, etc.
Jersey might have a goomba image, but it’s got a more progressive attitude toward gays than even New York does. You can almost here a Jersey “tough guy” saying something like, “Yeah, he’s a fancy boy? So what. Wanna make something of it, I’ll kick yer ass.”
This is quite possibly the stupidest show ever to be broadcast on network television-and that includes the remake of American Gladiators.

Oh please oh please don’t associate my Kentucky with Jersey.

Why do you hate America?
