Twitter geeking

It was pretty cool when I got the email “Karl Rove is now following you on twitter” but only half-cool because well, I was following him first. But now: JimDeMint is now following you on Twitter!

I wasn’t even following Jim DeMint. How cool is that?!

People have been sending me “thank you for following me direct messages” when I start to follow them. Is this protocol?

I would be more into twitter, or rather, I would be in it in the first place, if the verb form wasn’t ‘tweet.’
