Song of the Day
“At my most beautiful” by R.E.M.
Put on to this song by the aforementioned David, I thought of it this weekend when I.C. thanked me for letting him sleep. A beautiful song, easily one of R.E.M’s best and happiest. Sounds best when it’s Spring outside and you’re in love.
And, while on the subject of R.E.M., this song once put a lump in my throat (I have previously admitted to several songs that have made me cry. The worst, which featured actual tears down my cheeks instead of just wet eyes, was the Tom Petty one):
