Reader participation

I am meeting Senator Brownback tonight. What should I ask him? Be serious here. I know everyone has their problems with various politicians, myself included, but I want to ask him something serious that I actually want answered and not just try to put him on the spot.

Ask him why gay marriage rises to the level of a constitutional amendment, instead of letting states decide.

Heck, I can answer that one. I can even tell you what Senator Brownback will probably say (because, you know, I’ve heard him answer this one before being one of his constituents):
Fair faith and credit clause.

I’m probably too late to the party to get my question asked, but here it is:
What does he feel can be done to limit the size of government? Also, how what powers of the federal government would he give to the states?
