I’d never heard of Manhattanville before. I guess Harlem just sounds “too black” for some residents to handle.
Posted by: Marco at December 31, 2006 at 3:21 pmIt’s historically been called Manhattanville so it should keep that name. I consider Manattanville to be a sub-neighborhood of Harlem.
Like Yorkville is to the Upper East Side.
Morning Side Heights where the main Columbia campus is it’s own neighborhood.
