When I lived in the heart of Bed-Stuy I would see people holding it down on the corner in front of the bodega until late at night. Then I’d wake up and see them holding down the bodega first thing in the morning as I left to work, with new clothes on! It was like a full-time job!

I have a feeling they were working. In my hood, anyone hanging out in front of the bodega at odd hours was always working.
