Banner week for the boys and girls in Congress. Not only are they above the law, but they’re all cowards.

I can understand their hysterical reaction, after John Hinckley, Mirimar Kanzi, Rusty Weston’s shooting spree, 9/11, the ricin and anthrax attacks, and the general panic climate ensured by the continual presence of Cynthia McKinny and the Kennedy family.
However, you would think that before going into full meltdown, Orange alert, evacuation mode the geniuses who investigated this incident would have asked the eyewitnesses whether or not the noise they heard was a hydraulic machine, or a car backfiring… You know, having been situated in a parking garage at the time.
Well, I suppose nobody’s pefect.
Not even Capitol Hill police.
By the way, a lot of people grew up in Brooklyn. Barbara Boxer for one.
I know, *retch*!
Went to my alma mater too.
:-/
My family’s lived here for three or four generations, depending upon which side we’re talking about. I guess my sitster’s rugrats will be the fourth or fifth to be raised here. Another addition to her family-the third-arriving a few months ago.
My grandfather was born and raised in Bed-Sty, then he and his family moved to Crown Heights, after which one of his children-my father-moved with his family to Flatbush, then Gravesend, Bensonhurst, Midwood, Dyker Heights, etc…
Every one else moved to Long Island.
The other part of Long Island. ;-)
-good times, G.J.P. (Jr.)
