Personally, I’d love to go to Iraq, though I don’t know that anyone’s crying out to hear what I’d have to say once I got there.
Though yes, as Insty and the rest point out, the article’s total BS and there is no “embedded bloggers” program.

Actually, I would definitely go too. Everyone who made the chickenhawk argument to me doesn’t understand that I do the military a favor by not joining. But, I would definitely go as press or even some time of working position.
