Since when is it a civil liberty to decide when someone else should die?

When they don’t have a “living will” and they’re incapable of making the decision for themselves. I think it’s the right thing to do — try to determine what her wishes would have been.

What business is it of Jeb Bush – or religous fanatics come to that ?
There have been many tragic cases like this in the UK. They are always referred to as “right to die cases”, which may explain the outside interfence to counter he courts decision.
