From Andrew Sullivan

SHHH …: The AP makes sure it doesn’t actually accuse anyone of, er, you know, anti-Semitism or anything. Just because vandals spray-painted anti-Jewish slogans on Rosh-Hashanah, well, it could be anything, you know … Where does the AP think it’s publishing? In France?

I don’t think AP were trying to make out that it wasn’t anti Semitic (which I don’t think anyone would question). It seems to be that there was other parts to the attack apart from anti Semitism – ie anti Bush slogans. You are seeing those demons again.

Bobby, again, if writing anti-Jewish slogans (even if there were anti-Bush slogans as well, read some Arab news, he’s Jewish don’tya know) isn’t anti-Semitic then that word has zero meaning anymore. It’s just a word that no one wants to use, that everyone wants to pretend isn’t happening. It’s happening. That’s what it is. Call it what it is, is all anybody is saying.

Erm, I just said that it was anti Semitic. Twice. Didn’t need AP to spoon feed me that information. Bit tenuous saying that anti Bush = anti semite though.

I didn’t say that. I just said that adding anti-Bush slogans to anti-Jewish slogans doesn’t disqualify the latter slogan from being anti-Semitic.

That’s what bobby said.
you two kids need to reckognize when you share a common thought. That’s what it is, call it what it is, it’s right there in type. Do I have to spell it out for you? Do I have to use that word no one wants to use anymore.
Oh, if I must….
you have AGREED.
